The pieces that finish a room

A bedroom does not end with the bed. Nightstands, ottomans and similar pieces complete how the room works as well as how it looks — and because they get considered last, rooms often stay unfinished.

Nightstands

Getting the height right next to the bed matters more than it sounds. When the top of the nightstand sits level with the mattress or a few centimetres above it, you can reach across without sitting up; too low and you have to lift yourself every time. We work that out against the total height of your bed.

Ottomans

An ottoman at the foot of the bed does two jobs: somewhere to sit and put your shoes on, and somewhere the bedspread goes during the day. Storage versions take bedding inside.

Fabric: Accent pieces use the same swatch book as the bases and headboards. You can match the bed exactly or pick a deliberate contrast.
