Base & Headboard Sets
Headboard and base made together in the same fabric, so the bed reads as one piece.
Why buy them as a set
The risk in buying a headboard and base separately is the fabric not matching. The same fabric code from a different production batch can come out a shade off, and that difference shows when the two pieces stand next to each other. Made as a set, both are cut from the same roll.
Classic or modern
Classic sets combine an arched or winged headboard, button-tufting and often a carved wooden frame. They need height and space to look right. Modern sets read as a single soft form with straight or gently rounded edges and exposed legs, which makes a small room feel larger.
The mattress is not included
Sets consist of a base and a headboard. That is deliberate: the base and headboard are a decision about how the room looks, the mattress is a decision about how you sleep. There is no reason to make both at once.
Height warning: A thick mattress plus a high base plus a short headboard means the headboard vanishes behind the bed. We calculate this when measuring — worth seeing in the store before you decide.
